This was the first time for me to see a longhorn close up. They are such interesting animals, they walk funny because their horns are so heavy.

We have really enjoyed swimming in our community pool, I am impressed with how nice it is. It has a lot of places for little kids to play in! Wes and I have started going there in the evenings to work out. I am not a good swimmer, it about kills me to swim laps.
We have loved spending time together. With my new job I set my own hours; many days I am off by 4 so we can spend more time together in the evenings. This picture was at Joe's Crab Shack on my birthday. We love their crab legs.
I recently cut all my hair off, but I don't have a picture of it yet. I will try to get one posted soon. I know we have been horrible bloggers, and will try really hard to be consistant and post more often.

So glad to see the post! Keep them coming and more pictures, please! :) Our summer has been so rainy and cool (between 60 and 75 degrees most days) that we haven't been able to do any swimming yet... although I can't complain about it overall. I think we'll have a blast when your parents are up next week!

Clarissa and Christi have had us over a couple times and we're so grateful, Sydney loves it. It's very kid-friendly!
